Game Anecdotes

As in last game, this is a topic for you to describe and discuss small anecdotes or stories about fun things that happened in the game. Feel free to post pretty much anything here (but nothing too long!). See last game's topic for inspiration: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=374

I'll kick off with a small one: I was in MCC and saw a zombie behind the concrete pillar near there...a human group then proceeded to walk out of Pajenka's and announce "I see no shadow, pillar's clear" or something very similar. Cue frantic shouting of "THERE IS A ZOMBIE THERE".

Fortunately, no-one was tagged. :p

My first stun of the game: Just reaching the top of the stairs above the uni bar, we spotted a zombie at the bottom of the stairs. Recon at the ready, I came down the stairs, the zombie taking cover behind a message pillar. Standoff.

Then, a nice squad-load of Raiders arrived, flushed the zombie out. My shot missed. My sock didn't.
Never let a zombie be in charge of flipping a coin, they'll always say it came back heads. Partly for the sweet sweet brains inside, but mostly... dead men tell no tails.

Dart tag:
SCIENCE!

Game 3: 37 hours survived, 3 zombies stunned. No brains eaten.

Game 4: We shall see...

Missed Connections.
You: A rampaging horde of headband wearing shambling zombies.
Me: The guy in black with the tiny tiny little camera, and the L4D backup posse.
I saw you half way down the long lonely Hayden Allen corridor, you were headed towards the Union building when our eyes met. I advanced, camera drawn, hoping to draw your attention. You retreated, five to the number, running from my camera.

I was sad. You were fleeing. Tomorrow at the Siege of Union Bridge?

Managed to save a couple of derpy humans from being stunned today. Walking flat out down the middle of uni av, not looking behind them. Sneaky as Z crept out from I don't know where. I yelled out 'behind you' about 3 times before they suddenly realised I was not trolling. They _just_ stunned him.
Chaotic Neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.

The inarticulate cry of "arghh" that gave me enough time to take out the zombie attempting to rush the PiP advance group keeping the zombies out of the mission area tonight... just in time.

a zombie was stalking me and a group of about 8 humans, it was standing half way down the stair near union court not quite ready to risk being shot at... apparently it didnt realise that you can in fact shoot over the side... the end

when trying to get a picture of 5 zombies charging got reasonably close to 6/7 zombies whilst unarmed. Cause they knew of the mission and I had a camera they weren't willing to charge me =D

i arrived at anu at 4, waiting for my raider and my squad leader. as that got tedious after 30 minutes, i went out, armed with 6 usable darts and a secret strike.
i made movements in the pajenkas direction and bumped into a squad of humans. they took me in, and gave me a better weapon, one which my clips were usable in. we escorted some humans off campus, then moved to pajenkas, as a squadmate, Vulkan, had called in and was moving to "the tank".

he was not there. so the team moved to pajenkas, and lo and behold, there was Vulkan, running like the clappers off the bridge that 10 minutes ago became a zombie safe zone. and, unfortunatley, there was a zombie on his tail. after the luckless human had expended a large amount of darts while the zombie was safe, he had no choice to flee.

carrying a tommy and a vulcan.

he survived, and i am not sure what shot the zombie. and he would have likley been turned if not for the team that had escorted me. a few more zombies were on site, freshley tagged.

to the unknown, unnamed squad, whom i call the Defenders, thanks for the assist.

and yes, after this, me, sentinel and Vulkan made our way back to the rendezvious, and i got my raider.
HAZMAT.

The zombie chasing him was me, already stunned and returning darts. Sorry if I startled anyone.
